  • This is the second time I made this, this time with venison and it was the best venison ever.

  • Every bit written, information technology is good. Information technology is missing ane very important thing. I made it once more with skirt steak, adding 7 cloves of garlic and THAT made information technology a 4 forker for sure! And don't become all squeamish with me about using vii cloves of garlic. Information technology's chipotle for crying out loud! And steak! It made great carne asada tacos.

  • STEPHEN206 FROM SEATTLE, WA, You didn't read the introduction closely. It says, "In Epi's 3-Ingredient Recipes series, we show yous how to make smashing food with simply iii ingredients (plus staples like oil, salt, and pepper)." And then at present that y'all've read information technology. The ingredients are as follows: one canned chipotle republic of chile in adobo, 6 limes (juiced, wedges, and zested), and 1 i/2 pounds brim or flank steak. I made it and information technology is great! Try it, you'll similar it!

  • made it with skirt steak. served with grilled potatoes and asparagus, sliced avocado and a dollop of greek yogurt. Will definitely be going into the summertime grilling repertoire.

  • I LOVE this recipe. You can even marinate ahead of time and freeze. This is a crowd pleaser - fifty-fifty my kids love it.

  • Succulent & so easy! I've made this twice already, and I can't recommend information technology enough. I alive in an apartment and don't have a grill or grill pan, then nosotros used a griddle pan that goes on the stove acme - worked just fine.

  • Delicious and a great recipe for using flank steak . Leftovers were turned into arachera like strips and served in a corn Tortilla with Salsa Verde side by side day for lunch . Yum!

  • I pounded information technology a little flatter and used my hole puncher thingy to become max flavor. About ii min per ide was perfect and it real had a great flavour. I marinated overnight.

  • Twschopf, are you slicing it thinly, across the grain and at a 45° angle?

  • Could be crawly. Yet, I count vii ingredients.

  • Bainbridge, you are over cooking information technology! I only marinate for 30 minutes. Flank or hanger steak, $eight.99/lb or cheaper is fabled. Sometimes I just use table salt and pepper and a flake of olive oil and balsamic. Room temperature, dry meat, salt and pepper. Then put in hot pan, watch it very closely, turn a few times if information technology is getting too brownish. The trick is not to overcook. Should be seared on the outside and rare within. It volition proceed to melt while information technology rests. Should melt in your oral cavity with great texture!

  • I have several practiced flank steak recipes. The secret is marinate overnight, preferably, and grill information technology 11-12 minutes total for med-rare (depends on estrus of burn), and slice thin against the grain. I remember yous will e'er have tough flank if you cook past med. We don't have tough flank steak using this method for 40+ years.

  • Expert season, just I sure tin't figure out how to make a flank steak tender. I marinated information technology for 6 hours and information technology was still kind of chewy/tough. I would brand information technology again, merely employ a higher quality of meat.
